GTX Corp. (OTCBB: GTXO), a leading provider of wearable personal location  solutions using GPS and BLE technology, announced today that the Company’s patented GTX SmartSoles placed second in the Wearables, Health, Fitness and Wellness Category at the 2015 CTIA “Hot for the Holidays” Super Mobility Awards held in Las Vegas Nevada.

CTIA Super Mobility is the largest and most influential forum in the Americas focused specifically on mobile innovation.  The 2015 event brought together more than 35,000 professionals from all across the new mobile landscape and was powered by CTIA-The Wireless Association®, an international nonprofit membership organization that has represented the wireless communications industry since 1984. Membership in the association includes wireless carriers and their suppliers, as well as providers and manufacturers of wireless data services and products. Industry experts, analysts, and media judged the hundreds of entries across CTIA’s different categories to determine the finalists and winners. The Hot for the Holidays awards recognize the most appealing mobile consumer electronics — including health wearables and entertainment gadgets to connected car and home accessories.

“CTIA awards finalists are some of the best mobile products and services that leverage, shape and transform our competitive and rapidly evolving industry. These innovators challenge our way of thinking to improve our lives,” said CTIA Vice President and Show Director Robert Mesirow.

GTX Corp’s patented GPS-enabled “smart” insoles use GPS and cellular connectivity technology that provides a discreet and convenient tracking and recovery device that fits easily into most shoes. GTX SmartSoles provides peace of mind for family members or caregivers by providing real-time location monitoring of loved ones including the millions of people suffering from memory impairment or wandering as a result of Alzheimer’s, dementia, autism, traumatic brain injury, or other cognitive memory disability.

“We are honored to have received this prestigious award from among the hundreds of products entries reviewed and alongside companies like Microsoft and Samsung.  We believe it truly speaks to the unique value proposition of our proprietary wearable IOT platform products using GPS technology,” stated GTX Corp CEO, Patrick Bertagna.  “We have invested a great deal of time and effort in the development of our GPS SmartSoles and Tracking App in order to provide an easy to use, cost effective solution that can give peace of mind to every parent, child, or caregiver that has experienced the inability to locate someone in their care.  We look forward to gearing up our sales efforts in the coming quarters as we work to build a solid recurring revenue base in wearable tracking technology for years to come.”

The simplicity behind the SmartSole solution is its ability to be a ‘wearable’ yet ‘invisible’ stigma free monitoring application that alerts a caregiver when the wearer wanders off, sending a text or email to the caregiver’s phone and computer, with a direct link to a map plotting the wanderer’s location. The effectiveness is that they will be on the person that wanders off. They come in several trim to fit sizes for both men and women, are made with the highest quality electronic components and assembled in Rhode Island, U.S.A.
