GTX Corp Announces Initial European Order for SmartSoles

Los Angeles, Calif. – May 8, 2014 – GTX Corp. (OTCQB: GTXO), a leading global provider of personal location wearable technologies, is pleased to announce the receipt of a volume purchase order for its flagship SmartSole line of products from European distributor, Tracker.ch AG.

Since announcement of its new SmartSole line, GTX has been selectively rolling out a pilot program with interested and qualified industry leaders. With initial positive results in hand, GTX has now received its first significant international purchase order for 850 units of the Company’s flagship GPS SmartSoles, BLE SmartSoles, and Bluetooth cube accessories and is expected to begin shipping in July 2014.

“The order was placed by one of our international distributors, Tracker.com, which was one of the first to participate in the pilot,” commented Patrick Bertagna, CEO of GTX Corp. They are a leader in the Swiss market place for personal tracking and understand the product and end user requirements very well and based on their feedback and the feedback we have been receiving from other pilot participants, we expect to announce more orders and additional pilots in the near future.”

Guido Honegger, CEO of Tracker.ch AG., commented, “Tracker.com has been selling personal tracking solutions for the past 4 years and the SmartSole line addresses a significant need for Europeans that have seen a rise in Alzheimer’s, dementia and autism. We are thrilled to be working with GTX on deploying these innovative products throughout the Swiss community and we are especially pleased to be the first European distributor introducing the line of SmartSoles that are water resistant and come with wireless inductive charging.”

With the recent media coverage on wearable tech and the GTX patented GPS and Bluetooth SmartSole technology tailored for persons with cognitive memory disorders, the Company has received a wide range of domestic and international interest from distributors, foundations, organizations specializing in Alzheimer’s and Autism, assisted living facilities, police departments, the press and consumers. The Company plans to continue to work with these potential channel partners, enroll more pilot programs throughout the summer, and then officially open the launch to consumers.

Mr. Bertagna continued, “For now we are focused on building our partner network and working with our supply chain partners in order to ensure a proper flow of product with the highest degree of quality. Our products – whether embedded, stand alone or digital – are being used all around the world empowering people to monitor family, friends and co-workers. Many of our solutions, and especially the SmartSoles, address people’s lives and wellness, so we are taking all the necessary steps to ensure the highest standard of quality.
