On May 18-20, Google I/O 2016 featured thousands of developers and products, including GTX Corp’s SmartSole and Smart Locator Application, for three days at Google’s annual developer conference at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, CA. Google I/O 2016 brings together developers for an immersive, three-day experience focused on exploring the next generation of technology, mobile and beyond.

GTX Corp’s GPS SmartSole and Smart Locator application were featured in Geo sandbox Sugarbear, a 1959 PD-4104 General Motors Coach that measures 35’ long by 8’ wide with a diesel engine outfitted for biodiesel. Last year, Sugarbear traveled across the USA and had been re-introduced to Google I/O this year as a station for demos to be brought to life for users. Users were able to use the GTX Corp App and see firsthand how the SmartSole operates. In addition to GTX, Google Maps APIs also featured Trucker Path, Zendrive, Postmates and Vagabond.
