Pets and Emergency Preparedness

Hurricane season is upon us and unfortunately, that often means danger for us and our pets. Here is some pet emergency preparedness information from Ready.gov to help you prepare a plan and build a kit for your pets and large animals including ensuring they have some form of identification on them. Build a Kit Include basic survival items and items to keep your pet happy and comfortable. Food. At least a three day supply in an airtight, waterproof container. Water. At least three days of water specifically for your pets. Medicines and medical records.
